Team Leader Instrumentation & Control Engineering (a)

As a dynamic leader, you will take charge of team building, fostering a collaborative work environment, and assuming ownership of project execution and capacity planning for Control System Engineers. Your strategic approach will ensure a seamless workflow and resource optimization within the team, contributing to the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized equipment for streamlined work processes. You will ensure timely control of contract handling works, with a focus on preparing readiness for the Factory Acceptance Test. Furthermore, you will participate in the development of Global Contracting, specifically focusing on enhancing global contracting practices. You will assist sales and procurement in evaluating partner firms and potential new suppliers. Your discerning eye for industry trends and best practices will guide decision-making in selecting strategic partners and provide valuable support in Sales Engineering, leveraging your technical expertise to contribute to successful sales initiatives.

For this internationally-oriented and challenging position, we are seeking an experienced manager or team leader with several years of hands-on experience in a similar role in electrical and instrument design within various industry sectors, such as heavy-duty industry, energy/utility, or similar domains. You should possess a university degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related field, ideally added by an advanced qualification or certificate in business administration, showcasing proficiency in PLC programming and preferably with experience in redundant and fail-safe controls. Your ability to communicate effectively is crucial, and you should be adept at fluently interacting with both customers and staff in German, with a strong proficiency in English.
