Sr. Project Manager PLM/PDM (m/f/d)
The main task of the role is to drive the introduction of a new PDM tool. This includes conducting feasibility studies, providing support for the final selection and negotiation with vendors, system design, testing, training, and implementation. You will define the project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring they align with business objectives and requirements. Further tasks involve establishing and maintaining effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and subject matter experts. Additionally, you will monitor project progress and report project status to stakeholders and senior management. You will ensure minimal disruption to business operations during the transition from the old PDM tool to the new tool. Furthermore, you must identify and escalate critical issues and obstacles, collaborate with teams to develop and implement solutions, and ensure the achievement of high-quality results and customer satisfaction. You will continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
For this demanding and challenging position, we are seeking a versatile expert with several years of professional experience in project management, including a minimum of 2 years in PLM projects, as well as a solid knowledge and understanding of concepts, methodologies, and tools related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). You hold a university degree, such as in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and can demonstrate a proven track record of successfully introducing new PLM tools while minimizing operational disruptions. A project management certification like Prince2 or PMP is advantageous. You are recognized as an excellent communicator, possess experience in leading interdisciplinary teams, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
