As an Expert in semiconductor process engineering you are in charge of setting-up new end-to-end flows, e.g. wafer processing-testing/die-assembly, for translating product performance specifications into requirements at individual process steps and check these against process capabilities. You develop and analysis of complex manufacturing processes and applied in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices and drive sustainable continuous improvements of production processes with regards to product performance, process control, yield and cost efficiency in strong co-operation with R&D, Engineering and Manufactory. You will engage with tool suppliers to address process requirements and to evaluate equipment upgrades or new equipment solutions, monitor and analyse equipment utilization and uptime and you will coordinate and support preventative maintenance and unscheduled equipment repairs. Further tasks are manufacturing support and training of operators and supporting all environmental, health & safety and security requirements. Step by step you will assure a smooth and efficient processing of engineering lots by timely preparation of the manufacturing line for non-standard processing steps.
