To strengthen the interface between R&D and operations at the site in Zurich we are seeking an experienced

Process Integration Engineer Semiconductors (m/f)

As an Expert in semiconductor process engineering you are in charge of setting-up new end-to-end flows such as epitaxy-wafer processing-testing-die singulation-assembly for production and engineering lots in the MES systems in strong co-operation with R&D, Engineering and Manufactory. You are responsible for Driving improvements on the overall introduction process of these new flows, identifying process interactions or constraints between process lines and process steps and translating product performance specifications into requirements at individual process steps and check these against process capabilities. A further task is an end-to-end standardisation and streamlining of process flows for new and established products in order to improve efficiency and to reduce costs. Step by step you will assure a smooth and efficient processing of engineering lots by timely preparation of the manufacturing line for non-standard processing steps.

For this challenging position we are looking for an experienced Process Engineer with several years of experience in semiconductor production processing, e.g. in epitaxy, waferfab, testing, singulation, assembly. You are experienced with the use of data bases, e.g. deploying and extracting/evaluating relevant data to/from SQL data bases by writing scripts/queries, added by proficiency in statistics and quality management tools and good knowledge of Six Sigma and tools like SPC and FMEA. We expect a university degree (MSc / PhD) in physics, chemistry or material science, ideally with emphasis on material science or process technology. In addition to your strong communication skills and analytical abilities, you are known to be a very reliable team player and self-driven individual with a hands-on mentality, methodical approach and the ability to strongly prioritize issues. We expect a university degree in business administration, commerce and/or trading/supply chain. English is a must. Good German skills are of a huge advantage.
